IEA and the Disability Management Employer Coalition Inc. (DMEC)

Suggested Prerequisites
General knowledge or exposure to Claims, risk or insurance management, financial and human resources, safety and loss control, the legal system, agent/broker services, the application of group health benefits and/or disability benefits and third party administration.
It is suggested that prospective students take one of the following prior to enrolling in CPDM
- CA 8 -Workers' Compensation Claims for Non-Technical Personnel
- Disability 101: Non-Occupational Issues
Only three courses are required to complete the CPDM designation. All three courses must be completed with a grade of "C" or better to earn the designation. Modules may be taken in traditional classroom format, or online. To learn more about CPDM online classes go to our online training page.
