Associate In Underwriting (AU)
An Educational Program for Commercial Property/Liability Underwriters
Developed by the Insurance Institute of America and the Society for CPCU, the
goal of this program is to help professionals improve their competence level
by applying underwriting principles, including exposure identification, coverage
knowledge, key underwriting considerations, and loss control techniques.
Earning the AU Designation
The AU designation can be earned by passing,
INS 23, and AU
65 and AU66
or
AU 65 and AU66
and CPCU 551 and CPCU
552
