Associate in Insurance Services (AIS)
An Educational Program in Insurance Principles and Practices
Individuals who earn the Associate in Insurance Services designation will have demonstrated a knowledge of insurance principles and practices, a wide range of the most popular insurance contracts, the terms, tools, and ideas of total quality management and how they can be applied to the insurance business.
Earning the Designation
The AIS program is flexible. You can earn the designation by passing the
AIS 25-Delivering Insurance
Services exam and the exams for one of the following programs offered
by IEA
Associate in Claims (AIC)
Associate in Risk Management
( ARM)

Program in General Insurance (INS)
You can also earn your AIS designation by taking AIS 25 along with any of the following programs.
Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI)

Associate in Marine Insurance Management (AMIM)
Associate in Personal Insurance (API)
Associate in Premium Auditing (APA)

The National Examination
The Delivering Insurance Services exam is given upon your request. You
can take it when you're ready. Your supervisor, human resources director,
or another appropriate person can administer the exam. It is a multiple-choice
exam, and you have two hours to complete it.
