Offered by IEA in conjunction with Polestar Performance Programs, this highly-acclaimed, career-shaping, behavior-changing program will instill sales disciplines that consistently drive personal and agency success.

Tailored to the needs of producers committed to selling value-added services that differentiate them from other mainstream producers and agents, this program is built on the premise that a steady stream of customized services always sells when delivered proactively, consistently, and with integrity.

Participants learn hands-on strategies for accelerating sales, ensuring client retention, increasing efficiency and maximizing profitability. Participants also access detailed planning tools for personal and professional development.

What really sets this program apart from others is personalized coaching. Each participant works closely with their assigned personal coach before, during and after the program to ensure that what is learned is translated into results-impacting daily behaviors.

During this highly interactive, energizing program, participating producers will:

    Develop and implement an efficient, effective new business development strategy that attracts, qualifies, educates and closes the right accounts, with special emphasis on harvesting referrals, cross selling, pipeline management, pinpointed niche and prospect-specific marketing and strategic needs assessment.

How the Program is Structured

Session 1 (2.5 days)
Participants are assigned pre-work and arrive at the session with required materials. The 2.5 days will include a series of nine training sessions, breakout sessions, group discussions and assignments, and one-on-one coaching sessions that are used to develop each participant's marketing, sales, and value-added service planning skills. After the 2.5 day immersion, participants will continue to work with their coach, one-on-one, and in webinar-based team coaching sessions, to implement the plans and ensure accountability to the program.

Session 2 (1.5 days)
Participants return to the classroom @ seven weeks later to participate in facilitated training sessions covering additional sales techniques and CE credit-approved technical information and in one-on-one and team coaching sessions with their assigned coach. .

Session 3 (1.5 days)
Participants again return to the classroom @ seven weeks later to formally present their sales, marketing, and service plans, including their results to-date, to the coaches, instructors, participating agency principals and the Polestar executive team. Upon successful completion of their presentations, participants receive a framed graduation certificate.

  • Each participant is assigned an individual coach for life and has unlimited access to a rich library of support tools.
  • Each session is a mixture of classroom training, breakout sessions, group discussions and one-on-one coaching
  • Coaches are available to assist between sessions throughout the entire four-month training period
  • Coaches remain available after the program for as long as graduates choose to use them.
