Where does IEA offer courses and seminars?
To find a course offered in a specific geographic location, go to our advanced search page.
How do I register for a course or seminar?
You can register for a class right here on the website. Open
an online account, complete your personal information, then simply select
the program in which you would like to register. If you prefer, you may download
the form here(PDF; 16Kb), which can be mailed to IEA, 725 Town and Country
Road, Suite 430, Orange, CA 92868-4705 or faxed to (714) 689-0112
How do I withdraw from a course or seminar?
Please see our cancellation policies.
How do I transfer from one program to another?
Transfers must be received in writing prior to the 3rd class for semester courses
and prior to the course for one day programs. Transfers are considered on a
space-available basis only. There is a $25 fee for all transfers from one course
to another or from one location to another. Download
the form here (PDF)and send it to IEA with your check or fax it with your
credit card number.
Can I obtain college credit for IEA courses?
IEA's WCCP, CPDM and other courses are recommended for college credit by the
American Council on Education (ACE). Additionally, CPCU, ARM, Are, and other
Insurance Institute of America courses are approved for college credit if you
pass the national exam. You may also present the course material to the college
dean for college credit, as colleges may combine educational programs with your

How do I audit an IEA course?
Requests to audit must be received at IEA prior to the beginning of class and are subject to the approval of IEA and the instructor. Auditors are required to pay the full course fee.
How can I become an IEA instructor?
The IEA maintains a list of industry professionals interested in teaching for
the IEA. Please contact us at (800)655-4432, and we will be happy to send you
the relevant paperwork. As openings occur, IEA staff will review these applications.
Can IEA provide courses and seminars at my facility?
Yes, the IEA can customize its programs to suit your staff, your budget and
