CPDM

What is CPDM?
CPDM is a professional designation in disability management developed by IEA and the Disability Management Employer coalition Inc. (DMEC). CPDM offers an in-depth curriculum devised by industry experts, providing the unique skills required for effective disability management. Click to download CPDM brochure

Only three Courses!
Only three courses are required to complete the CPDM designation. All three courses must be completed with a grade of "C" or better to earn the designation. Modules may be taken in traditional classroom format, or online.

CPDM 1 - Essentials of Disability Management
CPDM 2 - IDAM Tools and Concepts
CPDM 3 - Disability Management Implementation and Sustainability

Preparing for CPDM
For those students having less than six months of disability management experience, IEA offers an introductory course titled, Introduction to Workers' Compensation Claims. This course is available in three different delivery formats to suit your time and schedule.

Continuing Education Requirement
Six hours of continuing education in workers' compensation or disability management each year. Click here for a list of seminars which will satisfy your CE requirement If your credit hours were earned using another provider and you would like to have them applied to your designation, please download CE reporting form here and submit to IEA along with the relevant amount due. CE can also be obtained through DMEC seminars.
