CPCU 530: The Legal Environment of Insurance



Description: Topics include U.S. law and regulation, civil law, contract law, contract formation, legal capacity and purpose, genuine assent form, interpretations, obligations, insurance contract law, commerical law, property law, tort law, negligence, intentional torts, product liability, environmental torts, special liability and litigation concepts, agency law, insurance applications of agency law, employment law, business entites, and the international legal environment of insurance. DOI CE: 40 CE hours for fire/casualty broker agents for instructor led courses. Online course not approved for DOI CE credit. However, CE credit can be obtained by passing the National Exam through IIA, www.aicpcu.org. Other CE: none
