CCMP 2: Cutting Edge Workers' Compensation Medical Case Management
Description:
This course is designed to provide both practical and fundamental basics for case management of the medical and disability issues related to workers' compensation, short term and long term disability, and group health. This course will benefit claims administrators, rehabilitation specialists, attorneys, medical professionals, physicians and nurses, and others seeking general knowledge of the impact of illness and injury to today's workforce. Topics to be covered include essential elements of case management, and key insurance terms and definitions. Learn the difference between telephonic and field case management, how to improve your professional relationship and what results to expect from case management. In addition, participants will engage in thought provoking discussions with real life case studies. Other CE Credit: 12 CE hours for WCCP and CPDM, 30 hours for BRN DOI CE: None Textbooks are required for CCMP 2 and can be ordered from www.amazon.com. The Case Guide Manager's Handbook, 3rd Edition, Catherine M. Mullahy and Deborah K. Jensen. There will be a required additional text for this course.
