A Rich History in Insurance and Risk Management
IEA traces its 132 year history to the Fire Underwriters Association of the Pacific which later became the Insurance Underwriters Association of the Pacific, reflecting expansion to an independent, all industry, all-line organization.The name was again changed in 1966 to Insurance Educational Association (IEA) to more accurately describe the evolving activities of the organization.
